2) Innovative Private Investors: Funders who take an innovative approach to social sector investment strategies.
Innovations in Sustainable Equity
3) Innovations in Improving the Community: Strategies used to better a community with focus on;
· Innovative Partnerships: Partnerships focused on cross-sector approaches.
· Workforce Development: Innovative service leading to earning a living wage and economic freedom, especially targeted to typically marginalized groups.
· Housing and Community Development: Innovative attainable, stable or permanent housing service models that strengthen individuals, families and communities.
· Education Entrepreneurship and Youth Development: Innovative ideas to develop new ways to advance education in novel and meaningful directions, and ways to positively encourage youth development.
Community Health Innovation
4) Innovations in Healthy Communities: Practices and strategies to improve the overall health of a community, with focus on;
· Healthy Communities and Ecosystems: Innovative service models integrating social determinants of health and health care, services that strengthen families, and approaches that ensure a healthy environment and other community conditions.
· Community Behavioral and Mental Health: Innovative service models in behavioral health leading to emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Addressing successful mental health models and support.
· Healthy Food Access: Innovative models providing affordable, accessible, and healthy food.
Innovations in Racial Justice
5) Racial Justice: Models that address the six principles for collaborative practice that promote equity and justice.
Innovations in Community Engagement
6) Innovations in social sector models designed for community engagement, with focus on;
· Violence and Crime Reduction: Innovations that help aid the reduction of violence and crime within the community.
· Reductions in Recidivism: Innovative approaches to ensure reintegration of formally convicted criminals to the community and aid their success.
· Services for the Undocumented or Unhoused: Innovative service models designed to support those who are unhoused or undocumented.
· Community School Coordinators: Innovations in creating and sustaining school community partnerships.
